Knowing how to handle Editors and divisions is essential to keep you

productive in Blender.

Tip: You can also use the View → Area → Duplicate Area into New

Window to detach an Editor from the interface. That is useful to move

Editors between multiple monitors.

1.1.2 Using WorkSpaces

At some point in your work using Blender, you will have a user interface

arrangement that helps in a particular task. It is possible to reuse that

interface layout in other projects. In Blender, we have a tool called

WorkSpaces, a set of predefined Editors you can activate at any time.

There are several pre-made WorkSpaces available in Blender that you

can choose using the selector at the top of your 3D Viewport (Figure

1.8).

You find WorkSpaces optimized for tasks like modeling, animation, and

video editing. WorkSpaces are only an interface arrangement and won't

have any effect on 3D data.
